The sea water quality at Bulabog Beach

In early 2015 coliform bacteria was discovered in the sea water at Bulabog beach the cause started with heavy rains which resulted in flooding and to control the situation two outlets located on the beach had to be opened this contaminated Bulabog sea water.. Proactive groups where quick to manage and monitor the immediate situation. In addition plans were drawn up to prevent this happening in the future. Now in less than three months the sea water quality at Bulabog beach is in a state of progressively improving. Just a casual walk on the beach can reveal this to every visitor as children can been seen playing at the waters edge, at low tide Sea Stars in abundance can be seen to have returned. The visiting windsurfers and kite boarders continue to blast their way happily through Bulabogs ever improving clean sea water.
