THE BORACAY Red Cross was scheduled to hold the 2nd Boracay “Million Volunteer Run” on Sunday, the 10th of February 2013. Even though the start was timed at 6 am on Sunday morning most volunteers did not hesitate to get up early to join this event. Taking into account that most volunteers has celebrate Chinese New Year the night before!!! The funds will be raised for the Red Cross Volunteers Training Program on disaster management and equipping the Filipino communities with life-saving tools.

Windsurfers, Kiteboarders as well as the instructors from Funboard Center Boracay have overlooked the great wind condition at Bulabog Beach for the early morning ride and get up even before sunrise. After a quick coffee at Café Tabou the group just arrived in time for the start. Simone had to catch up as she promised to be back at 7am and serve all runners a great breakfast before they jump back on the kite- or windsurfing board... thanks to Gido, Stephan, Glynn, Mads, Anders and Gilbert :-)
